BAKING WITH HEART AND HANDS Demonstration series with conversation. ($75 per evening or $250 for the entire series) Mondays (2/6 - 2/27), 7-9pm: Baking with Heart and Hands: 4-week Session  February 6: Bread  February 13: Scones & Muffins  February 20: Hand Pies: Sweet & Savory  February 27: Quick Breads & Biscotti  To use a gift certificate, email Kate with date of class and number of certificate.  Art of the Pie is taught by award-winning pie maker and master teacher Kate McDermott. Workshops are held in Seattle, unless otherwise noted, or by special arrangement. Included in each workshop class are all ingredients, recipes, yummy snack and more. You will learn the lifetime skill of how to make great crust, seasonal fruit filling, pie lore plus so much more! Each student will finish class with a pie hot from the oven or ready to bake at home. 
Gift Certificates are available. For Workshops you will bring: Your favorite apron 8”- 9” pie pan BIG mixing bowl (something you can comfortably get both hands in, at least 6 qt) A box or basket to take your just baked pie home ...and a smile, that’s the most important thing! For Hearts and Hands Series you will bring:

Due to the unique preparations entailed for workshops, classes and demonstrations, there are no refunds or exchanges for any reason. That time is booked and reserved for you and I cannot recoup lost time or ingredients prepared for your workshop. Gift certificates are valid for the length of time stated on them and are not redeemable for cash.
